Wake County Senior Games 2026 season kicks off March 27 & wraps up May 28!

Registration Requirements:

  • All participants must be age 50 or older by December 31st of the competition year.

  • All participants must be a North Carolina resident for a minimum of three (3) consecutive months annually.

  • Doubles/Team Events: The younger partner/youngest team member's age determines the age group you will be competing in.

  • SilverArts (Arts/Literary): Entries must be original, created after age 50, and not previously entered in state finals.

  • For ALL Doubles & Mixed Doubles events, at least one person from the duo MUST be a Wake County resident!

  • Basketball Tournament: at least one person (preferably the team captain) MUST be a Wake County resident!

Early Bird Registration:

February 1 - February 15

$15.00 per person

Standard Registration:

February 16 - March 1

$20.00 per person

* PLEASE NOTE * There is an extra fee for: Golf ($20) & Pickleball ($10/person per event)

Need to find a partner for your doubles or mixed doubles event?

Select the buttons below to use our “Find a Partner” tool. PLEASE NOTE: Your contact info will be shared via this website in order to help facilitate a match. YOU will be responsible for securing a partner - Wake County Senior Games will not facilitate any pairings. We encourage you to email, talk on the phone or meet with your potential matchup PRIOR to selection to ensure you both agree to the pairing. Once you have found a partner, both people must email wakecountyseniorgames@gmail.com and notify staff so we can update our list.

Policies & Details

Registration for Wake County Senior Games is open annually from February 1 — March 1.  Any registrations after March 1 will not be considered. Registration is processed online; if you need assistance with registration, please call (919) 996-4730 or reach out to your local Parks and Recreation agency.

The registration fee includes entry into any/all athletic events and/or SilverArts entries, a seasonal medal, souvenir t-shirt and gift. That’s right - you can sign up for multiple events!

All entry fees and donations are used to pay for expenses, including equipment, rental of facilities, insurance, t-shirts, medals, event officials, printing and postage.

Tips & Tricks for a Successful Registration

If you have participated in Wake County Senior Games (WCSG) before, you probably already have an account set up. But if you don’t remember, you can reset your username and your password. Be sure to check your spam folder inside your email account for the reset emails.

If you have never participated in WCSG, you’ll need to create an account!

When you register for the Games, please be sure to select “Wake County” from the menu. There are a lot of games, so let’s be sure you get registered for the right one!
